John is the Teagasc dairy advisor working in the joint dairy advisory programme with Carbery Milk Products in West Cork.  He is also the advisor to Greenfield project at Shinagh, Bandon. At the 2017 PFC he received an award for Best Speaker and also Best Chairperson of 2016 Conference (voted by attending delegates)

John McNamara

Roberta is originally from a dairy farm in Co. Offaly. Roberta graduated from a B.Agr.Sc Animal Science degree from UCD in 2010, before going on to complete a PhD in Moorepark, on the development of New Entrant dairy farms. Roberta is currently the Farm Profitability Programme Manager with Aurivo Co-op, which focuses on long-term profitability of dairy farms in the West and North-west region.

Michael Murphy, a well known figure in Irish Dairying circles. Dairy farmer, entrepreneur and international businessman. He is a pioneer in high profit, grass based dairying not just in Ireland, but worldwide. He has interests in farming operations in Ireland, New Zealand, Missouri, and Chile. In addition he is director of several companies outside farming.  He is co-founder of the Positive Farmers.

Justin McCarthy became CEO of the Irish Farmers Journal in January 2014, having been appointed Editor of the paper in March 2013. Since joining the Irish Farmers Journal, Justin has travelled extensively throughout Europe, New Zealand and South America.  Justin still plays an active role in the management of the family suckler beef farm in Co Down.

Mike is a dairy farmer, working in partnership with his son. Together they operate a grass based spring calving herd. He has a keen interest in the continued development of the Irish agricultural industry and has shown this through his involvement with in many organisations. Currently Mike is on the Board of the Agricultural Trust and is chairman of Animal Heath Ireland

Kevin with his wife Margaret farm together in Co. Cork. They operate a simple grass based, compact spring calving herd.  Kevin is a Nuffield scholar, and member of Teagasc top-level dairy group.
